WCW's Final Year

We start the show recapping Goldberg's big return two weeks ago where he saved Nash, followed by his win over Tank and saving Nash again again in the main event, plus his appearance on Thunder all narrated by Schiavone. Then we see outside the arena police are waiting outside.  Now we get to our video package, recapping the card for tonight with accompanying footage before we go to the arena for the show. We're live from the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. Schiavone welcomes us to the show as we get right to the first match. MIA make their way out first and Rection gets the mic, telling Loco that his mission tonight is to defend the Cruiserweight Title, and tells him to show like he's got a pair. Loco takes the mic and says he's got a little surprise for Disco, and he pulls out I guess it's a toy grenade, and Rection takes it away. RAW We get a recap of what happened on Smackdown, with the McMahon's booking three #1 contenders. Then we cut to Vince and the Stooges arriving and up walks Cole, who asks how HHH feels now that he has to face three #1 contenders. Vince says he doesn't care how HHH feels, pointing out that had it not been for his ego they might not be in this mess. He says if people would start listening to him they won't have these kind of problems. Vince is carrying a bag and wonders why he's doing that instead of Pat or Gerald, so Gerald takes it because, as Pat puts it, it's his job as they continue on their way.  Then it's to the opening video and pyro, where they're live from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York.
