WWF Week of June 12, 2000 - Linda Strikes Again

RAW Our opening video package for the night starts with recapping the problems among Taker, Kane and Rock since Judgement Day, before we get right to the opening pyro and intro. We're live from the Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri. J.R. welcomes us to the show and Rock is out to start it off. We learn from J.R. that the last two King of the Ring qualifiers, as well as an IC and Tag Title match are already scheduled for later. God damn the crowd is deafening. Rock says he's heard all weekend long that come Monday he's in store for a fight, that Kane and Taker are going to get back at him for hitting them with chairs, that the entire Faction, Vince, Shane, DX, HHH, even that $2... no, 50 cent slut Stephanie, getting back at him for making their lives a living hell, and now here he is. WWF Week of June 5, 2000 Recap

RAW - McMahons nearly implode to start the show arguing about the #1 contender situation, then Vince announces a three-way between Kane, Rock and Taker to name the sole contender. The implosion later turns out to be a ruse. - T&A and Val Venis beat Too Cool and Rikishi after a belt shot on Sexay by Val - Crash tries to sneak up on Brisco to get the Hardcore Title but gets a door closed in his face. He also later tries to sneak attack Brisco but gets Patterson instead. - Benoit qualifies for King of the Ring with a win over Road Dogg after interference by the Dudleyz - Brisco successfully defends the Hardcore Title in an impromptu defense against Crash with help from Patterson - Rock beats Taker and Kane after interference from HHH, earning a shot at the title later in the night. - Eddie and Chyna get the clean win over Godfather and Malenko after Eddie counters a tilt-a-whirl into a small package - Hardcore Holly qualifies for King of the Ring with a clean victory over Faro...

WCW Week of June 12, 2000 - Bash Aftermath

Nitro We get a recap package of the Great American Bash. Then we see police escorting a limo into the arena, out stepping Russo and Bischoff with a couple of cigars, alongside Goldberg, making their way into the arena. We're live from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Virginia. Schiavone welcomes us to the show, then the camera pans to commentary, and Scott Hudson is noticeably without a shirt, but still has a tie around his neck, and he explains that a weak before he made a crack at AOL/Time Warner about having to see Russo shirtless, and this is his punishment. Then they move onto Sting and use it to plug the PPV replay, and we'll get an update on him later. Then mentions how Hogan and Flair survived retirement and calls Goldberg the hired gun of the New Blood. Speaking of which, Bischoff's music hits and out he comes along with Russo, who of course has bat in hand. Bischoff starts calling Russo the man, but says he's the one who knows how to deliver a surprise ...
