WCW's Final Year

Our opening video package emphasizes Page's constant goading of Steiner and his mind games. Live from the Jacksonville Coliseum in Florida for the final PPV in WCW's existence, welcomed by Schiavone and Hudson, and we have an unannounced match to start the show. Kwee-Wee vs Jason Jett Kwee-Wee attacks from behind to start the match, knocking Jason to the floor. Now an exchange of rights and Jason takes control, sending Kwee-Wee into the guard rail. Standing side kick connects by Jason, who goes up top with a crossbody. Back in the ring, scoop slam by Jason in the corner, then to the middle rope with a leg drop for two. More rights by Jason, then a brief chinlock, then teases a crotch stomp, only to apply a swing hold, before dropping him and delivering an elbow to the back for two. Jason sent off the ropes into a forearm, then elevates Kwee-Wee to the apron, only to be flipped over the ropes to the floor by the hair. Kwee-Wee follows and misses a suicide dive. Nitro Show starts with Jarrett mid-entrance on his way to the ring. For some reason the commentary audio restarts a few seconds in, not sure what the hell happened there. Dustin appears from behind from out of nowhere and starts laying into Jarrett with rights, then sent off the ropes only to clothesline Jarrett to the floor. Jarrett into the guard rail and some more rights by Dustin, before tossing Jarrett back in the ring. Jarrett pulls his throat down over the top rope as he tries to get in and now Jarrett with the rights in the corner, then sent off the ropes into an inverted atomic drop and a lariat. Mounted rights in the corner by Dustin, then some more rights knocks Jarrett into the corner. Dustin sets up for Shattered Dreams, what they're calling the Dust Buster and connects before taking a mic. Nitro Cut to Rick Steiner in the ring telling Booker T he's never been anything without Stevie, and as a champion he was nothing, and has never beaten Rick. He says Booker doesn't scare him and he doesn't give a damn about Booker, then calls him out. Booker wastes no time coming out and says there's lots of bad blood with Scott and him, which hell deal with, but for Rick, he'll go to the ring for the fans, and not only will he go to the ring he'll whip Rick's ass all over the place. At the end of the night he'll be US Champion before calling for a referee. Rick meets him in the aisle but Booker quickly takes control, dropping Rick on the guard rail and the bell finally rings to start this.
