WCW Week 3 Recap

Nitro

- Kidman challenges Hogan to a match at Slamboree
- Norman Smiley is granted a shot at the Hardcore Title at Slamboree with a partner of his choosing
- Kimberly wants a divorce from Page, Jarrett smashes a guitar on Page, Arquette storms the ring. Arquette would challenge Bischoff to a match later in the night, with a World Title shot in a cage for Page on the line.
- Tammy and Candido beat Artist and Paisley after Artist hits her with a clothesline inadvertently. Candido gets laid out by Sting, who then challenges Vampiro to a First Blood Match for later.
- KroniK beat Team Package after distractions from Bagwell, followed by High Times, then Shane and Douglas attack Team Package before KroniK chase them out.
- Bischoff announces himself as referee for the Kidman/Hogan match at Slamboree
- Hogan has to take on Awesome and Kidman in a handicap match since he didn't find a partner, then loses after being splashed through table by Awesome, then leg dropped by Kidman.  Nash tries to save a post-match beatdown, only for his leg to be cracked against the ring post.
- Arquette beats Bischoff after Jarrett accidentally breaks a guitar over his head
- Steiner and Booker have a heated argument after Booker cost him the title last week, then it breaks into a brawl

- Page wins the World Title from Jarrett in a cage match even after Awesome interrupts the count, only for it to continue after Kanyon attacks Awesome
- Sting and Vampiro ends in... unknown decision after "blood" drops from the ceiling onto Sting, then he's attached to his harness and raised to the rafters to end the show.

Thunder
- Arquette is kidnapped by Bischoff and co. demanding a tag team rematch from Page for the World Title in return. Page refuses and is threatened by an attack from Douglas and Bagwell until Team Package take them out, but Bischoff and co. escape with Arquette.
- Cat beats Bigelow after the ref distracts him by taking a chair away, allowing Cat to hit the Feliner
- Kanyon beats Sean Stasiak after Henning nails him in the back of the head with brass knuckles, and Kanyon hits an STO. Awesome runs down and powerbombs Kanyon through the announce table, then DDP runs down to make the save, hitting Stasiak with the Diamond Cutter and accepting Bischoff's earlier challenge.
- Kidman beats Horace Hogan in a regular match after delivering a Dudley Dog through a table on the outside, and Bischoff makes the count
- Tank Abbot tries to attack Rey Rinaldi who's front row, until Marc Mero steps in and sends Tank away
- Sting, still drenched in "blood" when it's supposed to be 2 days after Nitro, beats Wall in a Tables Match after powerbombing him off the apron, then Sting beats up him and Vamp
- Flair cuts a classic Flair promo, then a stip is added for Slamboree where if Russo interferes, Flair gets him for 5 minutes. Oh, and Russo takes a shot at the Lex Express thing, and kidnaps Liz because he owns her contract and in turn, owns her.
- Paisley beats Tammy after interference from Candido and Artist with a DDT, then Candido gives one to Artist
- Awesome beats Booker with an Awesome Bomb after Steiner hits him with the US Title, then the seeds are planted for MIA and GI Bro.
- Bret, through a pre-taped interview, gives his reasons for attacking Hogan, which basically comes down to Hogan's politicing and bullshit.
- David Arquette wins the World Title after pinning Bischoff in a tag match, which also included Jarrett and Page, the latter having been knocked out by a guitar shot and pinned too late by Jarrett.
