WCW Week 6 - The 15th Time

Nitro
The opening video package recaps Sting and Vamp's feud so far, and then we go to the intro video and pyro, live from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi. Looks like we're starting the show with a match, because a cage has been lowered around the ring already as we get a wide shot of the arena.

House of Pain Steel Cage Match: Vampiro vs Sting
Pre-Match Notes & Thoughts: So no one has explained the rules to this, however there are noticeably handcuffs attached to the cage walls, one of which Vamp uses to lock the door of the cage shut. So Sting climbs on top of the cage where a bat just happens to be on top and uses it to break a panel in the roof, hanging down from the edge to kick Vamp a few times before jumping down to start this match.
Sting with rights and boots in the corner, Vamp sent across the ring for a Stinger Splash, then a bulldog off the ropes. Tony finally explains that to win they have to handcuff their opponent to the cage and once they do, they can have their way with their opponent. Vamp fighting back now with rights before sending Sting face first into the cage. Side suplex on Sting, then a spin kick to the chest. More shots in the corner, then taunting the crowd. More rights, then the corner punches, Sting sent across the ring for a clothesline and a suplex, then a leg drop. More kicks from Vamp to the chest and legs, then a knee between the legs. Sting sent off the ropes then caught with a side kick. Vamp up top for a dropkick but Sting delivers a powerbomb.
Now Sting with clothesline, inverted atomic drop, then Vamp fce first into the cage, then through the ropes into the cage. Vamp's face gets raked across the cage before Sting gets his arm around Vamp's throat, while he puts the handcuffs on to I guess win in 5:05.

Sting now with Splashes into Vamp into the cage, now uses the broken panel to swing and kick Vamp, then... Sting just leaves. Vamp is just laughing as Sting poses and celebrates on the ramp. Then the cage gets raised with Vamp still handcuffed to it. Lights go dark, Sting comes back and I think grabs the cage controls, and when the lights come back on, Vamp has disappeared.

We cut outside to Kronic arriving at the arena, and as Clark is taking his bags out of the trunk, Douglas appears out nowhere and starts slamming the trunk across Clark's back, then throws him into a truck before leaving and into commercial. Goldberg's truck is also way in the background.

Back from break, Rection is with MIA in the back. He says Bischoff tried to fire them three weeks ago, called them worthless, imbeciles, said things to them that would shock the old and the elderly. He says if it's a war he wants, it's a war he's gonna get. Cajun gets his catchphrase in, then Van Hammer is renamed Major Stash, and Chavo as Lieutenant Loco. Rection says they have a new cadet with the biggest set of bombs he's ever seen, Major Guns. They ogle her before they set off ready to go to war.

To the ring now for some confusion and the next match. So I just finished writing up the recap for the previous week, and last thing I wrote concerning this storyline is that Douglas and Bagwell got their titles back on Thunder, so imagine my confusion when Kronic came out for this match with the tag titles in their possession again. I had to go back and look to make sure I wasn't confused, and nope, it's just Russo doing dumb shit again. Adams(?) gets a mic and calls out Douglas, saying it's just like his punk ass to take advantage of a situation, just because his partner missed the 420 out of Atlanta, thinking he might be able to take one of them out, but all it did was piss him off a little more. He says Douglas either comes out and faces the music like a man, or they'll go back and tear the place apart brick by brick to find his punk ass.
On cue, out comes Shane with a mic, calling the Biloxi crowd pieces of shit and telling them to shut up. He says if they think he's going down to take back what belongs to him without backup, they've got more muscle between their ears than he thought. He says if they're man enough to put his titles on the line, he'll go down but he's not doing it alone. He says they can suspend Buff for 30 days for disciplinary actions, but that doesn't stop a Franchise. He tells them to look at ringside, at the markers on some tables, and comes his partner.

Kronic vs The Wall & "The Franchise" Shane Douglas
Kronic has the advantage right away, although Wall breaks away from Adams as Clark goes for the pumphandle on Douglas and he cuts him off. Douglas and Clark fight up the ramp as Adams hits the full nelson slam on Wall. Wall sent off the ropes but catches Adams in a chokeslam. Douglas has already gone to the back as Clark delivers chops on the outside, then clubs to the back. Wall back suplexes Clark through a table before Adams sends him face first into the ring post, then tries to powerbomb him through another but gets back drop onto it. Wall puts Adams on top before sending him through it with a splash off the apron.
They no sell all of that as they attack Wall in the ring, Wall sent off the ropes into a double clothesline. Wall gets tossed back to the outside, then send him through the announce table with the High Time. Back in the ring, Adams makes the cover and Kronic win in 3:31.

They pose with the titles as the ref calls for medics, Kronic heading to the back. Paramedics try to help Wall but he throws them around instead, chokeslamming one through a table before heading to the back.

Tony sends it to the back where Bischoff and Kimberly are planning... something, while Disco is trying to talk to him. He doesn't want to be with the Mamalukes anymore and Bischoff tells him to do whatever he wants to do, and Disco leaves. Then Cat brings in Funk, who threatens to knock his teeth out if he touches him again. Eric wants to make it short and simple: He's going to let last week disappear in his mind, start with a clean slate, and wants Funk to hand the belt over, make it quick and easy, Funk can retire with dignity. Funk says he's never handing it over, that Bischoff hates his guts and the feeling's mutual. Cat kicks him in the back of the head before he can say much else, stomping away and throwing rights while Kimberly and Bischoff go back to their planning into commercial.

Back from break, we catch up with Norman and Ralphus. Norman is tired and hungry, he needs a shower. Ralphus pulls out a thing of chicken and Norman slaps it down, and Ralphus pulls out what money he has, Norman saying they've got $1.23 between them, wondering what they're gonna do. He gets an idea, and it looks like they're in the arena parking lot because as they walk away, we see the Goldberg truck a few feet away.

WCW Hardcore Championship: Terry Funk (c) vs The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Rey Mysterio Jr. & Juventud Guerrera)
Pre-Match Notes & Thoughts: Juvie's got a mic and steals Rock's shtick, saying that The Juice has come back to Biloxi. Konnan calls out to Funk, saying he doesn't understand that his better days have come and gone, tells Rey to check him because he's got to have an expiration date somewhere. He says they're gonna take Funk's limping, 80s aerobic tights wearing, mummified, freeze dried ass out of its misery, that they've got a job to do, to take his title and they're gonna do it. Funk is sent out with Cat still beating him up, choking him with his tie down the ramp as the bell is rung.
Cat throws Funk into the ring, Rey with a bat and Juvie with a kendo stick to the back, then Konnan with a chair to the head.  Rey sets the chair down on Funk, then Juvie delivers the "People's Elbow". They stand Funk up and hold the chair in front of his face for Konnan to deliver a rolling right hand. Rey goes up top with the chair with a chair-assisted senton. Konnan sets the chair across Funk's throat as Juvie goes up top, but MIA are out to make the save and a fight breaks out. Disco is out now to join the Animals, who now have the upperhand as Funk is laid out. Booker now with the Book End on Disco, spinebuster on Rey, scissors kick on Konnan. Disco gets thrown onto the ramp. Flapjack on Juvie, Funk still unconscious rolled on top and retains the title in 3:01.

Disco rolls Juvie out and out comes Major Guns to give Funk some CPR, Funk finally comes to. Then we cut outside to a limo pulling up and out comes Ric Flair, the Goldberg truck once again in the background as it goes to commercial.

Back from break, we see Ralphus' ass crack bent over a popcorn machine. Norman's trying to get them jobs with the vendor while Ralphus tries to get some of the popcorn to eat. He gives them the job, tells them they only have on chance.

Back to Bischoff who's with Cat, Kimberly and his security, when in walks Flair. Bischoff apparently gave him his word and Flair asks where Russo is, but Bischoff says he has no idea where, Flair storms off in look. Bischoff tells Cat and security to give Russo a heads up, who's in a motor home around the corner apparently.

Back to the arena, as Candido and Tammy come out, Tony tells us that David and Russo made a visit to Ric's home during the week, and we'll see that footage at the top of the hour. Candido gets the mic and says it obvious to everyone that they're the first couple of sports entertainment. He says that tonight, since Tammy's feeling good, they put out a challenge, and Candido says he'll even put his title on the line, to any other couple in the back.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Chris Candido (c) & Tammy Sytch vs Crowbar & Daffney
Crowbar and Candido trading rights immediately, Crowbar reverses a whip off the ropes, goes for a press slam but Candido slips free, off the ropes and walks into a back elbow, then delivers a headscissor take down.  Crowbar face first into the corner for some chops and rights, and Ms. Hancock makes her way out. Crowbar sent across the ring, goes up and over and delivers a belly to back overhead. Crowbar goes up top but Candido cuts him off and delivers a superplex. Candido up top now with a flying headbutt, cover but Daffney breaks it up.
Tammy in, Crowbar grabs her and goes for a suplex, but she rolls into an inside cradle for a two count. Candido goes for something on Daffney but she slips free, then drops Candido with a DDT, cover but Candido kicks out. Tammy grabs Crowbar for a swinging neckbreaker, who rolls out to the apron, hanging Candido up on the top rope, then a slingshot splash for a cover and a near fall. Candido tossed to the outside, then slammed down on his back, Crowbar climbs onto the guard rail for a Vader Bomb. Crowbar grabs a chair, they throw it back and forth until Candido ducks a shot, Tammy sending it into Crowbar's face with a baseball slide. Tammy hits Crowbar over the head with the chair before they get back in the ring.
Candido and Tammy with a double suplex on Crowbar, Tammy with the cover but Daffney pulls her off. Crowbar gets tossed to the outside while Tammy's whipped into the corner for a Bronco Buster. Ms. Hancock suddenly has a mic and calls out to Tony, saying she's going to give him a little treat tonight, and begins to dance for him. Crowbar gets distracted now, and Candido goes out on the ramp with him, going for a powerbomb but Crowbar flips free, delivering a front suplex facebuster. Tammy with a stunner on Daffney in the ring, then goes to check on Candido, but Daffney rolls her up and wins in 5:20.

Well no one has any idea what's going on, commentary don't know who's the champion. The ref hands the belt to Crowbar, but Daffney thinks she's the champion. Crowbar thinks he's the champion. Then Ric comes out while they argue, sending Crowbar face first into the corner for rights and stomps and chops. Daffney escapes, then Flair chops Crowbar over the ropes to the outside. Flair gets the mic now and calls out Russo, saying the game is over and they're gonna settle it right now. We see Russo in the production truck yelling at a guy to play the tape mentioned earlier when he says to, before it goes to commercial.

Back from break, Flair is still waiting for Russo, telling him to get his New York ass out there. He says no one's mistaken for the asshole that Russo is. Then we cut to Sting in the parking lot where a car is on fire for... reasons. I guess it's his car. Flair just woos and keeps calling out Russo.
Looks like we're getting to the tape now, where we see Russo, Daffney and David arriving at Ric's home, Russo calling himself Geraldo for this expose. He calls David an outcast from this home, Russo seeing a Mercedes and a limo, and Russo asks David what the limo's for, to which he says is the personal grocery go-getter for his stepmom, and he's never rode in it. Russo takes them inside and Daffney plays the piano, while they look at a photo of Ric's wife and other kids. Russo asks how many facelifts David thinks his stepmom has had. Then he points to the demon stepsister Ashley and the Philadelphia Dutch kid Reid, who always caused David problems, who they call "champ" around there. Russo says Reid is the kid David could never live up to, with the trophies, the medals. Russo says this is the moment everyone's been waiting for, and asks David to bring him to Space Mountain.
Russo hands David his mic and does what he's always wanted to do, jumping onto the bed, then Daffney. They walk out onto the balcony, looking out David point out to "their" swimming pool, then points to a creek as "his" swimming pool, Russo calling it a polluted, shark-infested creek. Then they go to Ric's closet, with Gucci, Armani, Russo saying the wardrobe cost more than David's college education. Russo puts on one of Flair's flashy jackets before leaving.
Now they're outside Reid's room, or Champ's room as David corrects, and though Russo knows this is very traumatic for David, they go inside. We see all the trophies, Russo continues the narrative that Ric never went to any of David's games but probably went to all of Reid's. Russo puts on one of the medals and calls it a travesty, an American tragedy, then asks David to show the world his room.
So down they go to the unfinished basement where there's just some bedding on the floor with no mattress, and they say David slept there for 21 years, they treated him like crap, like a troll under a bridge. Russo says he's seen animals live better, but he said this would be an expose, that we were gonna see somethings about Ric that we didn't like, he hopes we'll be able to sleep at night and that it doesn't affect our children as well. He says before we go to bed to hug our children and tell them how much we love them, just like he loves David. They hug.
They go to leave, and just as they do, in comes Ric's wife Beth, along with Reid and Ashley. Beth asks what's going on, and David says he's exposing the real Nature Boy, how they've treated him like garbage for 21 years. She goes to speak and Russo cuts her off, saying she made his life a living hell for 21 years, calls her a witch. Reid gets mad and shoves him, then the camera turns to Ashley who's completely uncomfortable being on camera. Beth threatens to call the police as David continues, then they decide to leave.
Now back to the arena, and out comes David with Daffney, and he tells everyone to shut up while he's talking. He calls him Ric, and says his dad's busy in the back right now, so whatever Ric wants to say to Russo, he can say to David. Ric tells him to come down and he'll say it to him, saying these are the biggest steps David will ever take in his entire life and to make them good. Ric repeats himself and David asks why that is, Ric responding that David's going to grow up. He says he sat home last week, watched him call one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, Arn Anderson, David's uncle, asking if it was funny. David says it was funny, then asks if he knows what it's like to be him for 21 years, being asked what it's like to be the son of Ric Flair. Ric says that he won an opportunity to wrestle Jarrett at the Bash for the most prestigious trophy in the sport, that David show know something about it, that he's been looking at it his whole life. Ric wants that title shot tonight instead, and he's doing it so that David can walk out of the building, into the hotel, look in the mirror, and see what an asshole he's made of himself, that he's embarrassing his family, and if David doesn't like it to do something about it. Ric says he told David when he started that they'd manipulate him, knock it away, do anything to get the two of them against each other, bring up his divorce, spill their life on TV, and says he's not doing it. He says that since David thinks he's Mr. Big Man now, he tells David to pick out his favorite pair of Ric's own boots, because he's going to wrestle Ric Flair, not his dad. David says come the Bash, Ric better be ready to wrestle his son, the one he left back in Minneapolis for so many years. Ric says he loves getting ready, that he just didn't want this moment to happen, but David keeps pushing it, so it's gonna happen. David says he's ready to kick Ric's ass, and Ric says if he's ready, don't wait, get up and do it. He says to remember that nothing in life, nothing David ever does in his entire life, will make him any higher, will give him a bigger buzz than wrestling Ric Flair. He says David's embarrassed him, their family, and that this is so big that if he somehow, by the grace of God loses to David, he'll retire from the business for the rest of his life.
Then Jarrett sneaks in from behind, spins Ric around and bashes a guitar over his head. David screams at him to get up, then lays in with rights while Jarrett locks in the figure 4. Jarrett poses in the corner with the title while David screams to get up some more, then says he'll see him at the Bash as Ric lays out cold. David, Daffney and Jarrett leave.

To the back, Russo is yelling at a monitor, telling Ric to chew on that, a little wood for Slick Ric. He's also got a headset on and yells to get someone to get up there and fix it, whatever "it" is. Liz is sitting next to him, and he tells her it's tough love time, and has a little surprise for her tonight. Looks like the "it" is the broken panel in the roof of the cage and takes her out of the room into commercial.

Back from break, out comes Russo, Palumbo and Liz as the cage has lowered once again, while the panel is still being fixed on the roof. Russo and Liz step into the cage and he says he's from New York and there's always a plan. He says for the last few weeks, Liz has been humiliating and making a horse's ass out of him, but tonight she will learn all about tough love, because she will compete in the House of Pain. He reminds us she hit a certain somebody with a chair last week when they weren't looking, and takes the honor in introducing her opponent for tonight.
Out comes Medusa and we get a replay of Liz hitting her with the chair last week. She wants to get her hands on Liz, but Russo holds her off, wanting to milk this, pointing out security around the ring, Palumbo guarding the door, who locks the door with Russo still inside before calling for the bell.

House of Pain Steel Cage Match: Elizabeth vs Medusa
They corner her and question her about the chair shot, and she's scared out of her mind. He says Luger isn't going to help and no one's gonna save her. Meanwhile, the guy on top of the cage who was supposed to be fixing the panel drops down who turns out to be Luger. Medusa attacks while Palumbo tries to open the door, sends Luger off the ropes, he ducks a spinning heel kick and grabs her, getting her in the Rack. Russo delivers a low blow but it turns out he had a cup. Liz now with the low blow, then rubs Luger's cup in his face. Security finally get the door open and Russo grabs Liz while security mace him, and Palumbo gets him with the muscle flexer over the back repeatedly, then chokes him with it. Now Nash's music hits and out he comes and into the cage. He takes out security while Liz, Russo and Palumbo rush out of the cage, so I guess this is a no contest?

Nash lays out security as Russo looks on, security rushing out of the cage now. Medusa's been left in there though who tries get away, but he gets her by the hair. He goes for the jackknife but now Awesome's in from behind, clubbing Nash in the back. Now right hands as Medusa leaves and Russo makes his way back down. Luger's up with the bolt cutters and Awesome leaves with Medusa to an awaiting Russo, then to the back.
Nash gets a mic and calls out to Awesome, calling him Eddie Money, saying he's messed with him for the last time. He says Awesome came to the ring of his own free will, but tonight he's gonna leave the arena on a stretcher and in an ambulance, then officially challenges him to an Ambulance Match. Awesome takes the mic from Russo and accepts, calling him a seven-foot freak, saying he's going to put him in the ambulance and end his career. He steals a line from Scott Hall, telling Awesome to bring it and not sing it, and his music hits.

We go to Mean Gene who's standing by, waiting on Steiner who's late, who right on cue arrives, saying that he's not late, he does things when he wants to do them. He has Russo's format in his hands and rips it up, apparently he's got Scott wrestling, and says he'd shove the format up Russo's ass if he were standing there. He tells Russo that he's not wrestling tonight, he's in his street clothes, he's gonna wait in the alley and wait for his brother and Tank, because there's too many rules in wrestling. He walks off into commercial.

Back from break, Norman and Ralphus are in the crowd selling popcorn, then commentary plug the WCW Magazine. Then to the back, where Tank and Rick are heading outside to meet Scott. Scott's ladies break 2x4s over Rick's back and legs and he chases them off, while Scott delivers knees to the midsection of Tank up against one of those big, green electrical boxes. Rick comes back and breaks a 2x4 over Scott's back, stomping away, hitting him with the broken 2x4, right hands, clubs to the back. Then Goldberg's truck drives by and over several cars, Rick and Tank heading back inside. Then we see Nash backing an ambulance into the arena before another commercial.

Back from break, and Madden says the following as Nash's music hits:
"Two weeks ago, I implied that Bruno Sammartino was dead. He's not. I apologize."
Just completely out of the blue, and I remember this happening some weeks back, and I'd like to think it was unintentional, but he sounded so insincere saying this. Anyways...

Ambulance Match: Kevin Nash vs "The Career Killer" Mike Awesome
Pre-Match Notes & Thoughts: Nash drives into the arena in the ambulance, and as Mike makes his entrance, we get a replay of Kanyon being thrown off the cage at Slamboree, then Page being put through the table the next night.
Nash right away with a knee to the midsection, then Awesome with rights and shoulders in the corner, Nash sent across the ring and gets a boot up. Nash with right hands now, knees in the corner, then elbows to the side of the head. Awesome fights back with rights and boots now, Nash sent off the ropes into a flying clothesline. Awesome goes out to the apron and snaps Nash's neck over the top rope before stomping away. Awesome grabs a chair from ringside, but Nash kicks him in the gut before taking the chair over his back, then into the ribs, before tossing Awesome out to the ramp.
Awesome with more rights as Nash joins him, then more rights up the ramp toward the stage. Nash with several low blows, then tries to send Mike into one of the steel beams of the stage set up but he blocks, sending Nash into it instead. Mike goes down to by the ambulance and pulls out a table, setting it up near the stage. Page comes from behind and nails the Diamond Cutter on the ramp. Nash is back up, picks up Awesome and pulls him over to the edge of the stage. Nash has so much trouble getting Awesone up for the jackknife that Page has to help lift him, and when Nash throws him off the stage, Page goes with him as Mike goes through the table just barely. The ref just calls for the bell even though Mike isn't put in the ambulance, so this ends in... I guess ref stoppage in 5:21.

We then cut to the back where Bischoff is watching this on a monitor, then says if you need a job done, you have to do it yourself. Then we cut outside to a car arriving and it's Hogan into commercial.

Back from break, we catch up with Norman and Ralphus who can't believe how much popcorn they sold. Norman suggests they refill and go back out to make more money. Ralphus scratches his ass and then sticks his hands in the popcorn, and the vendor from earlier walks up as he sees this, then fires them.

Back to the arena, Bischoff makes his way out with Cat and Kimberly. Bischoff says there's a time when every man realizes that when you want something done, you have to do it yourself. He doesn't understand what Page doesn't get, first it was his soon-to-be ex-wife, then it was that Hollywood thing he had going on, he's taken it all away from him, but Eric's getting real bored with him, so he calls him out, wanting to kick his feet in all by himself, but tells Page to bring backup because he'll need it.
On cue, out comes Page without the backup and Bischoff's ready to fight. Page has a mic, he says that he knows in some circles, Cat is considered a bad sumbitch, but to Page he's a pussy, then says he needs to back up or he'll need to call his mama. Then to Bischoff, says he doesn't need to call anybody and clocks him right in the face before going after Cat, rights back and forth for them. Eric leaves, then Cat goes after Page only to get a low bow and a side slam. Page leaves and gets Eric, sending him into the guard rail, then a clothesline on Cat. Eric into the guard rail again, then a flying clothesline on Cat in the ring. Kimberly gets him in the face with a chair though, barely, then Cat decks him with the Feliner. Bischoff comes back in.
All of a sudden, Sid's music hits and out he comes after being gone months with a shoulder injury apparently. Page sent off the ropes with a double clothesline, Sid's on the apron calling for a tag in this non-match and Page gets the hot tag. Sid then grabs hold of Page and delivers a chokeslam. Cat chokes away and now Hogan comes out, right hands on Sid and Cat, then a noggin knocker sending them out of the ring, helping Page back up. Bischoff gets a mic as they escape up the ramp, and since Hogan wants to play in his house, he tells him to get rid of Page and he'll let Hogan play his way, and tells him to stay there, calling him a dead man. They head to the back as Page an Hogan pose into commercial.

Back from break, Bischoff is with Kidman and... Horace? He tells Horace he better not screw this up, that he told him last week he's giving him a shot, and tonight is his shot. He tells him not to drop the ball, to forget what his uncle has been telling him and to trust him. Then we go to replays from Thunder with that shit show of a match where Horace was supposed to be fired.
Back to the arena, Bischoff comes back out, this time with Horace and Kidman. He says he can kick Hogan's ass, but he's not going to, we already know Billy did, and tonight his own nephew is going to kick his ass all over that god forsaken stinkin state, because he's one of them.

Hulk Hogan vs Horace Hogan vs Billy Kidman
Hogan drops Kidman with a right hand on the ramp, then tosses him over the ropes. Bischoff joins commentary while Hogan lays into Kidman with rights in the corner. Kidman sent off the ropes into a clothesline, and Hogan tries to talk sense into Horace. Kidman with boots and rights in the corner now, tries to send Hogan off the ropes but he hangs on. Kidman clubs him before sending him off the ropes now, but Hogan hangs on as Kidman goes for a dropkick. Hogan catapults Kidman over the ropes onto the ramp.
Hogan takes off his belt and whips away at Kidman's back, then back in the ring starts to choke him. Right hand drops Kidman, then a back suplex. Hulk goes for the cover but Kidman gets pulled off the mat. More rights on Kidman, then to the outside, Kidman whipped into the guard rail, then sends him shoulder first into the ring post. Hogan goes after Bischoff a moment before turning his attention back to Kidman. More rights until Kidman gets in a low blow and back in the ring.
Kidman with more clubs, but now he hulks up, until Kidman gets another low blow. Kidman tries to escape but Horace pulls him back in. Bischoff leaves commentary as Hulk lays in rights, and Horace drops Eric with a right hand. Out come the Filthy Animals and Hogan lays them out. Horace is back in with a couple of chairs and wails away, then Hulk starts laying in with chair shots. Now out comes Torrie Wilson, Horace nods seeing her and... hits Hulk in the back with the chair? Horace makes the cover and wins in 4:59. What?

Horace throws down his FUNB shirt as he gets a New Blood vest, celebrating in the ring as everyone looks on in confusion into commercial.

Back from break, we get replays of what just happened. Then to the back, Horace and Torrie are leaving together and up comes Kidman from behind, then Bischoff close behind him, to hold him back. Horace and Torrie leave in a car.

Back to the arena, Russo comes out with David and Daffney, wearing the robe he stole from Flair's house. We see Nash watching on a monitor backstage. Then, onto the main event.

WCW World Heavyweight Championship: Ric Flair vs Jeff Jarrett (c)
Pre-Match Notes & Thoughts: Russo joins commentary, great, and we get a replay of Jarrett smashing his guitar over Ric's head earlier in the night.
Flair doesn't even let Jarrett get to the ring as he attacks him on the ramp and the bell is rung, Flair with rights and chops sending Jeff back in the ring and to the other side. More chops by Ric against the guard rail, raking the eyes, Jarrett whipped into the guard rail. Flair gets a chair and cracks it over Jeff's back, then more chops and more rights.
Back in the ring, Flair wastes time wooing as he steps through the ropes, so Jarrett pulls the middle rope up for a low blow, stomping away now. Ric whipped into the corner and turned inside out, then face first into the guard rail, whipped into the rail. Jeff with a chair into the ribs, then a second time, then a third. Then he goes after the knee with the chair before delivering a suplex to the floor. Jarrett with more right hands before going back in the ring. Jarrett now with the figure 4, slaps Ric a couple of times, shoulders down for two and he gets up off the mat. Ric tries to roll but his shoulders fall to the mat for another two count, before he forces a break in the ropes.
Jarrett stomping and punching away into the corner, more right hands. Jeff with corner punches until Ric delivers an inverted atomic drop, then a low blow, then a chop takes him down. More chops against the ropes, then whipped into the corner, upside down to the apron, ducks a clothesline and drops Jeff with one of his own. Ric up top, but Jeff cuts him off and throws him up and over to the mat. Ric sent off the ropes, Jeff bends over, Ric gets him in an inside cradle and... Oh it's over. Ric wins his 15th World Title in 6:18.

Russo screams holy shit as the bell rings and he and David leap out of their seats. Jarrett smashes his guitar over the referee's head in anger, then hits Flair in the head with what's left of the guitar. David smashes a mini-statue over Ric's head and Russo with some crotch chops, then Russo just takes the title and leaves. Then Nash's music hits before Russo can escape. Nash takes the title away and Jarrett gets the belt to the face, before delivering the jackknife through the ring. Russo looks on as Ric pulls himself back up, Nash handing the title over to him and raising his arm in victory. Nash crotch chops Jarrett.

We cut to Bischoff on the phone with Douglas beside him. He tells whoever it is that he and Russo will be on the jet first thing Wednesday morning, and tells them to be there before hanging up. Then he turns to Douglas, and admits they may have underestimated Nash a little, but they can fix it. He says he and Vince need to be on a plane Wednesday at noon and puts Douglas in charge of that day's Thunder, much to Shane's glee. Back to the ring for more celebrating as the show fades out.

OVERALL THOUGHTS
Well... This show wasn't as bad as I usually find it to be. You did have the nonsense with the Hogans, and the Cruiserweight Title confusion that hasn't been resolved, and the attempt at comedy with Ralphus and Norman. Flair and Jarrett put on an alright main event, and admittedly, David seems more comfortable than he did last week with all this nonsense. So whatever, it's was an OK show. That said, with a run time of 1:42:28, there was a total 33:35 of wrestling on this show.

We start with a recap package for Monday's Nitro, set to generic music and no other audio, then to the intro, but rather thaan go to the arena, we go to the New Blood, led by Douglas, arriving in... a school bus? Then Konnan gets pissed at Douglas and tells him to go play with himself before trying to walk off. Shane attakcs him and a fight breaks out between the members of the New Blood. Now the Millionaire's Club join in the fight, with MC getting the upper hand. In the chaos, Hogan took the keys to the bus and leads the MC back into the arena.

Now inside the arena, live from the Cajundome in Lafeyette, Louisiana, with Schiavone, Tenay and Heenan on commentary. They recap what happened with Flair, Russo and David, then remind us Russo and Bischoff aren't there, attending some business meeting that'll have a huge impact on the company.

Now Hogan's music hits and out he comes along with the Millionaire's Club and he's up first on the mic. He holds up the keys and tells the New Blood they took their keys, and now they're taking the keys to the show. He tells Douglas that whatever he had planned tonight, it ain't happening, to rip it up and throw it out, and for the entertainment of their fans, the MC is booking the show tonight.
Douglas' music hits now and out he comes with the NB. He repeats that R&B put him in charge of the show, and plans on ruling the show with an iron fist, and if Hulk wants to try and take it over, he can go up to the stage and try. Hulk says they'll take it over in a second while calling him little man, then moves onto Kidman, calling this his first will and testament. He says he's heard how Kidman's been running around, bragging about how he beat Hogan at Slamboree, talking to his girlfriend about how he busted up Hogan, but tells him he needs to look at the record books. Hogan then challenges him to a rematch at the Great American Bash, but adds a stipulation, that if Hogan kicks his ass, from one end of the ring to the other, he gets a shot at the World Title next month. He points out that Bischoff isn't there to talk for him tonight, he isn't going to hold Kidman back, his girlfriend doesn't have a seatbelt around his waist. Kidman cuts him off before he goes any further, saying he knows how much Hogan cares about the title, calling him a mark and saying he has a huge ego, but accepts the challenge. Then Hogan turns to "Hor-ass," saying he's gonna get his ass kicked by his uncle tonight.
Jarrett gets the mic now and calls them Jurassic slap asses, then says no one's doing anything until he gets his stolen property back. He wants to know where America's most wanted, most notorious, deadbeat dad Ric Flair is, wanting his title back. Right on cue, Flair comes out from the back, turns Jarrett around and smacks him in the face with the title belt and the NB start to beat him down, until the MC come down to start a fight. Hogan's music hits as the fight goes to the back into commercial.

Back from break, we're back with the NB yelling at Douglas and asking what they're going to do. He says they just have to be smarter than the sons of bitches. Konnan calls him a puppet for R&B, saying he's just trying to score brownie points, and he and the other Filthy Animals leave.

We go back to the arena for about a minute of crowd shots as the Animals' music hits and out they come. Juvie does Rock's shtick before Konnan gets the mic. He says the Filthy Animals aren't afraid of anybody, then calls out MIA and out they come.

The Filthy Animals (Konnan, Juventud Guerrera, Rey Mysterio Jr. & Disco Inferno) vs Misfits in Action (Lt. Loco, Cpl. Cajun, Cpt. Rection & Major Stash) (w/ Major Guns)
Disco and Cajun start it out, Disco with boots in the corner, Cajun reverses a whip across the ring and delivers a corner splash, then Loco with one of his own, then Stash and Rection. They distract the ref while Guns comes in and shakes her boobs in Disco's face. Now he delivers rights on Stash before tagging in Juvie.
Dropkicks to the knees, chops in the corner, then Stash lifted up top for a Frankensteiner. Juvie wastes time posing in the corner, and Stash takes advantage, tossing him into the adjacent corner for chops before lifting him to the top rope or a stalling superplex. Stash with the cover but Disco breaks it up. Rection tags in and goes for an elbow but Juvie rolls out of the way, who then tags in Rey who dropkicks Rection into the corner. Forearms by Rey, boots to the midsection, then runs from across the ring leaping onto Rection who catches him on his shoulders. Rey rains down right after right, eventually causing Rection to fall forward and send Rey down on his back to the mat.
Loco and Konnan get the tags, the former lands a dropkick, then knocks Disco off the apron, drop toe hold on Konnan followed by a low dropkick to the side of the head. Of course in true WCW fashion, Stasiak's music hits and out he comes, Loco sent off the ropes for a rolling clothesline but he ducks. Stasiak pulls down the top rope as Loco runs over and sends him tumbling onto the ramp, and the ref calls for the bell in 3:17.

Stasiak with a DDT onto Loco on the ramp, then throws him back in. The Animals start a beat down on MIA and now Booker comes out, back body drops Disco over the ropes onto the ramp. Spinebuster on Rey, then trading rights with Stasiak before clotheslining him over the ropes to the outside. With Loco out cold, Guns gives him CPR much like she did to Funk on Monday and he pops up.

We go to the MC locker room who are happy with what they saw, then Luger leaves to take care of something, Page close behind as it goes to commercial.

Back from break, Gene is with MIA and Booker in the back. Booker explains himself, saying it's an all out war out there with R&B, pointing to Rection's "F.U.B.A.R." shirt that says it all. He says he can respect that because they turned tail and ran, and it's time for Booker to make a change, time for him to declare all-out war.

Hogan comes out to the arena now as we get a replay of what happened on Nitro. Hulk has a mic and says he's not going to take anything away from Horace, because when Horace's dad passed away, he had a few problems growing up, and Hulk never laid a hand on him, but tonight he's going to kick Horace's ass, then calls him out.
We cut to the back where Horace is watching this on a monitor with Kidman and a few others, and he tries to take Torrie with him but Kidman says she's staying there. Horace says they had a deal, and when Kidman tries to get between them, Horace drops him with a right hand, before taking Torrie out to the ring with him.

Hulk Hogan vs Horace Hogan (w/ Torrie Wilson)
Hulk immediately jumps on Horace as he enters the ring, they trade rights and rake each others' eyes, Horace getting shots in the corner until hulk nails a low blow. Hulk now with chops and rights, Horace sent off the ropes into a clothesline, then tosses him to the outside. Horace face first into the steps, them whipped into the guard rail before taking a table out from under the ring. Horace gets him from behind before he can set it up, chops and clubs to the back until Hulk thumbs the eye, then drops him with some rights. Hulk sets up the table before going back to Horace with more rights, Horace rakes the eyes and chops Hulk to regain the advantage until Hulk rakes the eyes again and tosses Horace back in the ring.
Hulk takes his belt off and starts whipping Horace across the back, then starts choking him, laying in with some right hands, then a clothesline with the belt. Horace dropped crotch first on the top, then Torrie climbs the apron for a distraction, allowing Horace to attack from behind. He stomps away now, mounted right hands, then turns to Torrie for a kiss and a hug. Kidman rushes the ring pissed and attacks Horace, Hogan comes back in with a chair and cracks Horace in the back with it, then hip tosses Kidman over the ropes through the table. Hogan makes the cover on Horace and wins in 3:53.

Torrie enters and checks on Horace, and Hulk threatens to hit her, but ends up kissing her instead, much to her glee. Hogan leaves while Torrie checks on Kidman.

We cut outside to Luger in his car, asking a nearby person where the nearest gym is. He gives directions and Luger drives off into commercial.

Back from break, Palumbo's at the gym and in walks Luger. He sends Palumbo's spotter away and takes his place, and Palumbo's completely clueless. Once he sets the weight down, Luger nails him in the ribs with the muscle flexer, then over the back before throwing him around, slamming a water jug into his head. Trash can put over top Palumbo and slammed against a column, before slamming him in the ribs with a pole. Weight belt across the back of Palumbo before throwing him into a dirty towel bin, then slams a weight repeatedly into Palumbo's ribs. Luger dumps a protein drink on his face before leaving.

Now we cut to Norman and Ralphus outside the arena selling F.U.N.B. t-shirts. Ralphus is worried about getting arrested and Norman tells him not to worry as it goes to commercial.

Back from break we get replays of Luger's attack, then to the arena and Funk comes out with mic in hand. We get a replay of what happened on Nitrro with the Animals, then he calls out Cat, telling him to dance his silly ass out there. He says he's not going to give him a title match anytime but now, and on cue, out he comes.
Cat's got a mic and says he's too pretty to be in a hardcore match with Funk, and if Funk can hobble his old ass up there, while Funk is already halfway up the ramp, Cat'll rip him apart, and tells someone to call his mama because he's about to whoop an old piece of junk. Funk then proceeds to smack Cat in the head with his mic to start the match.

WCW Hardcore Championship: Terry Funk (c) vs Ernest "The Cat" Miller
Funk with a DDT on the ramp, cover and a kick out by Cat. Hangman's neckbreaker by Funk, cover and another kick out. Cat with a low blow and a kick to the back of the head sends Funk tumbling and it goes to the back. Cat wastes time posing and Funk hits him in the head with a trash can, sending Cat back with lefts and rights. Cat face first into a table and a laptop to the head, then into the table again. Cat now hits Funk with a laptop, then a chair to the head, Funk sent tumbling onto another table before having a trash can thrown down on him. Cat stomps away, then the trash can thrown down again. Funk slid across a third table before Cat lays in with more right hands, then a beer can to the head. Cat face first into a trash can, then one over the head, then again, then another trash can to the head. Cat hits him with a bag of popcorn, then nearly slips in it as Funk starts to stumble away.
Funk face first into a steel shutter, then another, then he's rolled under the shutter before Cat slams it down into his ribs. Now they're outside, Funk thrown into a chain link fence with convenient pipes laid against it. He throws a couple at Cat, one to the head, then Cat grabs a rake and jams it in his ribs, then over the head of Funk. Now they've fought over to Norman and Ralphus' merch table, Cat face first into the table. Funk slams the table down onto Cat's head, then a chair to the head. Norman tries to get them away and Funk just scares them back, before breaking the windows of their car with the chair. Cat clobbers him in the back of the head with another chair, then they climb onto the car, Funk's face slammed repeatedly into the roof before throwing Funk into the opened hood, sending him down to the ground. Norman tries to sell Cat a shirt, and instead he grabs Norman and pins him up against a fence. Cat opens up the hood and puts Funk in position to slam it down, but Norman hits him in the back with a chair. Funk pulls him under the hood, lays him down, makes the cover and retains in 5:38.

Up next, Awesome's on his way to the ring with a stretcher.

Back from the break, we catch back up with Norman and Ralphus who are being put under arrest despite their protests, then back to the arena.

An ambulance has pulled up beside the stage and Awesome makes his way out, dropping the stretcher at the top of the ramp. He gets the mic from Penzer and tells everyone to shut their mouths for a minute. He gloats about crippling Kanyon, who will now be sucking soup through a straw for the rest of his life. Then he tells us that he's now scheduled to face Page at the Bash in an Ambulance Match. He tells Page to go and reserve himself a room next to Kanyon, because that's where he's gonna be right after the Bash.
As for tonight, he says he doesn't have a match scheduled right now, so he tells whoever has the spaldings to bring it down and play.
Much to his dismay, Steiner's music hits and out he comes with a mic. He says before Mike starts challenging people in the back, he needs to realize who's back there, because Mike doesn't have what it takes to beat him. He says he's not part of the New Blood or the Millionaire's Club, his only alliance is to his freaks nationwide. He tells Awesome that after he puts his punk ass in the ambulance to tell that New York son of a bitch Russo who kicked his ass on Thunder.

Ambulance Match(?): Scott Steiner (WCW United States Heavyweight Champion) vs Mike Awesome
Steiner ducks a clothesline and delivers an inverted atomic drop then delivers rights in the corner, before delivering his spinning belly to belly, followed by some push-ups. Mike rolls out frustrated, throwing a chair in the ring which Steiner catches midair, then throws it at Awesome who sidesteps. He steps back through the ropes but Steiner is on him immediately with knees to the ribs, Awesome sent off the ropes into a clothesline and an elbow drop, cover and a kick out.
Mike face first into the corner, then delivers a low blow, stomping away on Steiner followed by some rights. Scoop slam, then Awesome goes up top and delivers a flying clothesline, cover and a near fall. Awesome calls for the Awesome Bomb but Steiner back drops him, then another suplex. Steiner locks in the Recliner, then all of a sudden Goldberg's music hits, Steiner eventually releases before tossing Awesome onto the ramp. We see on the tron that it's just Tank and he mocks Goldberg's entrance, flanked by R&B Security and Rick close behind.
Steiner goes after him and security clears out, now Rick from behind. Scott fights back and lays out Awesome with a clothesline, but Rick knocks him down with a right. Then we hear an engine revving and in drives the Goldberg monster truck on the other side of the stage. As Tank and Rick turn their attention to it, Steiner attacks them from behind, throwing them onto the hood, and the truck drives off as they hang on. Steiner goes back to Awesome but he climbs into the ambulance and the ref calls for the bell, so I guess Steiner wins in 4:54 as Awesome drives off...

Steiner gets his arm raised, then we cut to a shot of Kanyon in his hospital bed, as Tony tells us we'll see an exclusive interview Tenay had with him next.

Back from break, before the interview we go to Shane trying to unify the NB, saying that the MC can't hold their jockstraps but are beating their asses because they can't act like a team. Then more arguing over each other before we go to the interview.

Tenay starts by bringing up the doctor's report, of how he suffered severe trauma to the spine, almost a wait and see situation at the time, and now that it's been a little over a week, he asks Kanyon for an update. He says he's still real weak, especially from the waist down, but weakness really everywhere, arms, fingers, hands. He says he has trouble breathing, tired all the time. Tenay follows up now that we know how he is physically by asking how he is emotionally. He says that that's been the harder part of all this, he talks about how he's wanted to be a wrestler since he was 13, but ever since the injuries he doesn't think about wrestling anymore. He says he's 30 and has been relatively healthy his whole life, and now the question isn't when but if he'll walk again, it's hard and he still wants to wrestle, but right now his main goal is to get out of that bed and getting healthy again.
Tenay brings us back to Slamboree, to the main event, and asks what would possess Kanyon to get involved in that match. He says he wrestled Awesome earlier in the night, was pretty beat up from the match, and originally meant to go out there with Page and Arquette to watch the match but couldn't get himself up to do it. He says he was watching, and Page had been through so much to that point in the match, brings up his strained relationship with Bischoff, and his wife left him, and after going through all that, suddenly Arquette turns on him and Jarrett beats him. He felt so bad and then he saw what Awesome was about to do and he couldn't just sit back and watch it happen, so he went out and climbed the cage. He says it's real easy to sit there and blame Awesome, be mad at him, but he knew the risk going up there, and he pretty much blacked out when he was thrown off, and doesn't remember much after that. He says he went out there because Page has always been a big supporter of his and a good friend and felt he owed him.
Tenay brings up a recent interview Kanyon did for WCW Magazine, about how he credits Page more than anyone for helping with his career, but while Page is still walking, Kanyon's confined to the hospital bed. Kanyon agrees, but he says he's had 24 hours a day for the last week or so to think about himself and it gets old quick. He says Page has done a lot for him, and has a lot more to deal with now, his wife, his career, and now him. He says Page was the one there the whole night the first night in the hospital, Kanyon was in and out all night, and though he doesn't remember much, he does remember that every time he came to, it was Page sitting where Tenay is now, and it meant a lot to him, but since then he's been on the road wrestling, but he calls 2, 3, 4 times a day to check in. He says his biggest fear now, besides his own condition, is he doesn't want Page to get in too deep, to make this a personal vendetta where he does something he regrets. He says Page has taught him so much about life, about wrestling, that the biggest thing he ever taught him was to be a survivor, and he'll survive this one way or the other, but just hopes Page can.

Back to the NB with more shouting over each other until Shane gets a phone call and gets everyone to calm down. Turns out it's Kronic, who want a 3-Way Dance with Shane tonight. He says they've got more muscle between their ears than he thought, then tells them to kiss his ass before hanging up. He tells the NB to close and lock the doors to the room, saying there's not a chance Kronic get in there. Instead though they just up and leave into commercial, much to Shane's protests.

In typical WCW fashion, we come back from break and get footage where Kronic attacked Shane during the break before dragging him out to the ring.

Kronic vs Shane Douglas
Shane tries for cheap shots right away and pulls some kind of weapon out but Kronic are immediately back on the offensive, double teaming in the corner. Clark with the pumphandle powerslam, then Adams with the F5, then double clotheslines Douglas over the ropes onto the ramp. Douglas grabs the belts that were on the apron and tries to escape with them, until The Wall comes out with a table and rams it into Douglas, then sets it up on the ramp before chokeslamming Douglas through it. Wall press slams Douglas back into the ring, then Kronic deliver High Time for the win in 3:06.

Up next, Ric Flair out to the ring.

As promised, out comes Ric with the World Title, while we go to replays of Ric winning it followed by the aftermath. We get a "15 time" chant before Ric speaks up, saying he never dreamt it would happen again, yet it happened Monday night, and he's damn lucky it happened to him. He puts over Jarrett as a great champion, but says Jarrett's a little confused and doesn't know it right now, calling him a great wrestler and saying he got lucky, but still has the belt. He says Jarrett comes from the old school, although he hates to admit it, and Ric respects that and respects him, but as of now, he doesn't have the World Title, the Nature Boy does. Now he says all he has to do is get his home life back together, because he has a son who's just like Jarrett: confused, mind boggled, overwhelmed by the one and only Vince Russo.
He wants to give the world his take on Vince Russo, making it clear this isn't a crack on the Italians. The way he sees it, Russo was a skinny, little, Italian kid growing up in the Bronx, and his papa told him "Like every man in New York, he wanted to be like Sammartino, the champion of the WWWF, and Russo said "Oh papa, I admire Bruno, he's a great man, a great role model, but he's a little too slow, I wanna be a little slicker." His papa said "Oh no, no Vinny, you gotta grow up, you gotta be Bruno, he's the man," and Russo said "Oh papa papa please, please, I want something else in life." So Ric figures his dad had a little more money than the rest of the guys in the neighborhood, he bought Vince the cable out of Atlanta, Georgia, TBS, and one day his daddy heard him going "Papa, mama, come see, come see!" His daddy ran in the room, horrified, he said "No! Turn that off!" and Vince said "Papa, I wanna be just like him. Wooo!" His mama said "No, Vinny, this is a good, Catholic family, you can't be like the Nature Boy! You can't style and profile," and his papa said "Vinny, you can't be like the Nature Boy, you got no muscles, no girlfriends, no long limosine, you can't be like the Nature Boy." Now Vinny, "Please, daddy, let me be like Ric Flair," then papa "No, no, you be this way," "Oh no daddy, I'm going to be like him some day."
So now Ric says it's all rolled around, Vince is a big, skinny little punk with no muscles, with a checkbook, and thinks he has the power to make peoples' lives come and go, but he's wrong. He says Russo couldn't control him, he couldn't be like him, like Sting, he couldn't control Luger, he could never be Hulk Hogan, so instead he comes in the back door, write the big checks, make himself bigger than life, but in reality, he's just a kid that wanted to be like the Nature Boy, a kiss stealin', wheelin' dealin', limosine ridin', jet flyin' son of a gun, kiss all the girls in the neighborhood and make em cry, and instead he was a skinny, little boy with no muscles. He's got no girls, hasn't got em now, he doesn't have Ric, Hogan, Luger, Sting, nobody, and as of Monday night, he ain't got the World Title, it belongs to the old generation, every guy he's dared to call old, it's tradition. He says he got lucky, but he's got the belt, and in pro wrestling, having that belt is all there is, Russo knows it and he knows it.  He says as far as he sees it, Russo's not able to have him, or any of the other great ones, so he's grabbed his son and is trying to live his life vicariously through his son...
Damn I was really enjoying that, but Ric is now interrupted by Jarrett who's heard enough of this outlandish, vaudeville crap. He calls Ric a notorious, deadbeat dad, he's got Jeff's stolen property, and he's fixin' to step into the ring and pull it out of Ric's ass. Ric tries to speak but Jarrett wastes no time and starts going at it with Ric in the ring, Jarrett with rapid rights in the corner, now Ric with chops, until David and Crowbar come out to join in. Suddenly the Horsemen music hits and out comes Arn with a pipe, scaring them out of the ring.
Arn picks up the mic now and says they're going to clear some things up. He says he's old school too, that Russo took another old, sleeping dog thought to be dead, and woke him up last week. Problem is, Arn says he's not a morning person and he wakes up grumpy. He says he was considered retired, he even thought so, he was contempt to walk around in the back doing menial jobs, help out where he could, because he wanted to be around the business, but the reality is he's a wrestler, that's not what he does, this is what he does. He says part of that old school mentality tells him this: He comes home, one of his kids is sitting on the floor lighting the fireplace with matches, he doesn't worry about the women's groups, the neighbors, he jerks him up, takes his belt off and tear his ass up. He says logs and baseball bats are not the answer, and tells David that until he learns to be a man, he has to first be a man to be a wrestler, that he needs to take that snake sitting in New York City and quit letting him control his head, because if David looks around, all of his constituents are chasing each other's ass around the room trying to figure out what to do next. He says New Blood is 0-everything, so in about 10 minutes, we're gonna get a dose of Anderson and Flair Horsemen style. The Horsemen music hits as Jarrett and co. head to the back.

Then we cut to Vamp somewhere dark and dingy in the back, holding a Sting mask. He says Sting, for 10 years, has talked the talk and wants to know if he's ready to walk the walk, before he sets the mask on fire into commercial.

Back from break, Sting is already in the ring and thanks Vamp for pointing out he's talked the talk for 10 years, but reminds him he's also walked the walk for 10 years. He says he's been real nice, real kind and real patient way beyond what he's capable of doing, he's real close to snapping, perhaps even blow a gasket. He says tonight he's going to knock Vamp right out, take him out in Louisiana.
Vamp comes out on the stage now and has a question for Sting, bringing up the cage on Nitro, how Sting left him hanging cuffed to the cage, Sting walked out, and Vamp was just laughing, asking if Sting just doesn't have the balls to cross the line and finish the job. He says if that was him, they'd still be picking fragments of his face off the front row. Then he suggests maybe Sting just doesn't get it, maybe a little bit of Sting that like him, a little bit that wants to be like him, since he seems to be enjoying all the time they're spending together lately. He then reminds Sting he said he was going to take him to hell, and that's exactly what he's going to do, announcing that at the Bash they're going to have an Inferno Match.
Sting says he's definitely psycho and calls him a bonehead, then says that that's not gonna happen. Vamp admits he's psycho, and says Sting doesn't have a choice. There's several moments of the camera on Vamp's face, until it turns back to Sting, where the ropes are slightly on fire. Vamp walks off, then Sting poses in the corner before he leaves into commercial.

Back from break, Jarrett is with Douglas, who's worried about R&B being pissed off at them. Jarrett says they won't be pissed at him, he's the Chosen One, but Douglas says they're a team, and Jarrett can go out and do his part to fix this. Jarrett says he'll do his share and he walks off.

That said, it's time for the main event... Or at least it's supposed to be. So someone in the production truck screws up because they hit David/Crowbar's music first, only to then have Ric's music play and out he comes. Then we cut to the back where Arn is getting beat down by David and Crowbar and Daffney, Ric tries to rus to their help but he's attacked by Jarrett on the stage. Ric fights his way back to the ring with rights and chops, throwing Jarrett back in the ring, and the bell is rung.

Ric Flair (WCW World Heavyweight Champion) vs Jeff Jarett, Crowbar & David Flair(?)
Crowbar is right behind Ric as he delivers chops to Jarrett in the corner, then David right behind him, and the numbers game gets to Ric in no time, stomping away in the corner. Jarrett goes for the figure 4 but Ric thumbs the eye, only for Crowbar to stomp away. Then David with mounted rights, then he puts the figure 4 on Ric.
Nash's music hits now and out he comes, then Ric gets Daffney with an inside cradle for the win in 1:21. What?

Nash with a boot on Crowbar, then Ric puts the figure 4 on Daffney. Jarrett in with a chair to the head of Nash, and he no sells before chasing Jarrett to the back. Ric finally releases Daffney and David pulls Crowbar and Daffney out of the ring. The ref helps Flair out and up to his feet to the back as his music hits.

We cut outside to the bus where Douglas is waiting impatiently on Jeff who finally arrives, everyone else is already on the bus. I guess they got the keys from Hogan somehow... Oh never mind, the bus isn't moving so I guess not. Nash makes his way out to the bus now, and he's joined the rest of the MC and they all team up to tip the bus over on its side. Then suddenly the rev of an engine is heard and in comes Goldberg's truck and... The show just fades out.

OVERALL THOUGHTS
Well I can't call this show a total bust. Flair once again saving the show with that promo of his and Arn cut a pretty good one too. I'm just glad they didn't have him wrestle a second week in a row. Still though, while the action was alright for most, we had another bad Hardcore Title match, a Maybe an Ambulance Match that they had no idea how to book, and that main event finish that made no sense. Not to mention we've now got Sting/Vamp in a Human Torch Match official for the PPV, so.... Yay. Sigh. Anyways, with a run time of 1:25:13, there was a total 22:09 of wrestling on this show.
