Raw
- T&A beat the Dudleyz after an Unprettier by Christian on D-Von
- After Vince alludes to hitting Linda if she sticks her nose in her business anymore, he makes a cage match between Rock and Shane for the title later in the night.
- Crash keeps the hardcore title in an impromptu defense against a parking lot employee
- Grandmaster Sexay returns from injury with a win over the Hardyz alongside Scotty 2 Hotty
- Jacqueline and Kat get a win over Terri and Ivory
- In backstage segments, Vince threatens Hebner, then promises Road Dogg and X-Pac a future rematch for the tag titles
- Jericho gets a DQ win over X-Pac after he shoves Hebner
- E&C lose to Showkishi and Rikishi, but retain their titles due to DQ after Edge nails Show with the ring bell, only for he and Christian to get stinkfaced.
- Eddie retains the European Title against Essa Rios in a Backlash rematch, then Chyna gets payback on Lita by stripping her.
- Benoit retains the IC Title over Tazz after a distraction by Perry Saturn
- Crash keeps his Hardcore Title in an impromptu title defense over Steve Blackman, and a brief attempt by Orioles player Jonathan Ogden by escaping through the crowd.
- Despite interference by HHH and the McMahons, and with some help by Hebner, Rock retains the WWF Title over Shane in the steel cage.

Smackdown
- Jericho wins the IC Title from Benoit after nailing him with the title behind the referee's back
- The Undertaker return vignettes begin appearing on the show
- Chyna and Eddie get the clean win over Essa and Lita
- Kurt Angle beats Hardcore Holly after feigning a knee injury, only to be knocked out with a Falcon Arrow onto a chair
- Rikishi beats E&C by countout. They try a post match beat down but Scotty and Sexay make the save
- Hardyz get the clean victory over T&A, only to be laid out after the match
- Shonan the Barbarian vs Bull Buchanan never happens as a brawl breaks out before the match, with Show coming out on top.
- Crash keeps his Hardcore Title in an impromptu defense against Malenko and Saturn, causing a rift between the two Radicalz
- With Hebner forced to be his partner, Rock retains the WWF Title in a handicap match against an "injured" Triple H, Road Dogg and X-Pac. Hebner gets the crap beat out of him after the match which involves being Pedigreed onto a chair until Dudleyz make the eventual save as Hebner is carted out on a stretcher in a segment that went way too long.
