WWF Week 7 Recap
Raw
- Vince announced a 4 on 1 match, pitting Rock against DX and Shane. He then gets the crap beaten out of him and sent out of the arena in his own limo.
- T&A beat the Hardyz after a distraction by Trish
- Eddie retains the European Title over D'Lo after a distraction by Godfather and his hos, then Godfather hits a Death Valley Driver on D'Lo.
- Rock attacks DX when they arrive and trap them in the back of an 18-wheeler.
- In a rematch from Judgement Day, ECK get the win over Too Cool and Rikishi after Scotty gets his with one of the belts
- Shane comes out to gloat about "killing" Big Show at the PPV, then gets attacked by Rock and thrown out of the building.
- Benoit retains the IC Title over Venis via DQ, thanks to a chair shot by Hardcore Holly. Then he nails Val, then Jericho comes out to nail Holly with a chair.
- Dudleyz get a clean win over Bull and Boss Man
- Crash is pissed for being cheated out of his money the week before and losing the Hardcore Title as a result, challenging Bradshaw to a Hardcore Match for payback. He gets squashed.
- Essa Rios is caught smoozing with some hos by Lita backstage.
- Malenko is supposed to team with Saturn to take on Godfather and Essa, but he takes two hos and leaves, making it a handicap match. Lita then costs Essa the match and Saturn gets the win by himself.
- After laying out DX and the McMahons, save for HHH, Rock calls out HHH for a one on one encounter, but the McMahons and DX make their way back anyways. Taker makes the save to end the show.
Smackdown
- Taker tries to run over Vince backstage before the show officially starts. Then Vince tries to have Taker arrested for trespassing, but we find out Linda signed him to a contract before Judgement Day. Then he tries to have him arrested for attempted murder, but after touching one of the cops surrounding them, he's forced to back down instead being arrested for assaulting an officer. Shane attacks Taker from behind before much more can happen.
- An open challenge for E&C's tag titles is accepted by Eddie and Chyna. E&C get DQ'd for not stopping a double team beat down on Chyna, but retain the titles as a result.
- Crash looks for more payback, this time on Farooq, but gets squashed again.
- Holly beats Jericho and Venis to become #1 contender for the IC Title for the next week's Raw.
- Vince talks Rock into taking the night off, only to get slapped anyways.
- Matt gets a win over Essa after several mishaps by Lita. Essa beats up Lita after the match, and the Hardyz make the save, carrying her to the back.
- Shane is talked into fighting Taker by DX and his family.
- Too Cool and the Dudleyz get a clean win over T&A and DX in an 8-man tag.
- Angle beats Benoit via DQ in an IC Title match after Holly hits him with a chair, so Benoit retains. Holly tries to hit Benoit, but gets the chair and hits Holly instead.
- Bull gets the win over Al Snow after a nightstick shot from Boss Man.
- Taker vs Shane either goes to a DQ in Taker's favor or a no contest due to no bell rung, after the Faction and Rock run down for a chaotic brawl to end the show.
