WWF Week of June 12, 2000 Recap

RAW
- After arguing between Rock, Kane and Undertaker, Linda has them join forces to take on HHH and the McMahons at King of the Ring. She also makes several matches for the show.
- X-Pac qualifies for King of the Ring, beating Dean Malenko thanks to interference by Road Dogg and Tori.
- Steph retains the Women's Title over Lita after Angle interferes with an Angle Slam
- Faction attack Kane and take a picture of his face without a mask to use as blackmail, so they can have him destroy Rock in a No Holds Barred Match later on.
- Too Cool retain the Tag Titles via DQ over T&A after Venis attacks Scotty. Rikishi comes out to even the odds and nearly Stinkfaces Trish but she escapes.
- Shane and Vince beat the Dudleyz in a Tables Match thanks to interference from the Faction. Vince also takes a nasty fall from the top rope to the ringside floor.
- Bull steals Taker's bike to get him out of the arena for the show, and Crash attacks and chases Brisco to the ring.
- Crash wins back the Hardcore Title over Brisco in a 24/7 defense after a miscommunication with Patterson.
- HHH retains the WWF Title over Jericho after interference by Steph and a belt shot from HHH.
- Benoit retains the IC Title over Matt Hardy after countering a Twist of Fate into a Crossface. Benoit nails Jeff with his belt after the match.
- Jeff Hardy qualifies for King of the Ring with a win over Christian after failed interference by Edge and an inside cradle
- Kane vs Rock ends in a No Contest after GTV returns to reveal that the blackmail plot failed, and with help from the Dudley and Taker they all lay out the Faction to end the show.

 Smackdown
- Edge qualifies for King of the Ring over Sexay after a chair shot from Shane
- Faction make several matches for the show. HHH announces that their match at King of the Ring will determine a #1 contender for his title, either the person who gets the pin fall, or whoever wins King of the Ring.
- Patterson and Brisco spend the show searching New York for Crash, and it eventually turns into a plug for Shaft and a cameo from Samuel L. Jackson. Crash escapes with the title in the end.
- T&A beat the Hardyz after interference from Trish
- Taker is arrested because he stole a guy's car to chase Bull on Raw.
- Scotty qualifies for King of the Ring over D'Lo after a jumping DDT from the middle rope.
- Kane beats Benoit via DQ, but Benoit retains the IC Title after Benoit nails Kane with the belt, then is nailed a second time post match.
- E&C vs The Dudleyz ends in a double countout. Dudleyz are stuffed into a dumpster and it's pushed off the stage, a la Cactus and Funk shoved off by the Outlaws.
- Bull beats Jericho after Steph throws water into his face, then gets laid out by HHH for reasons.
- Val and Rikishi tear each other part in a brawl around ring side, which eventually ends with Val cracking a monitor and  chair over Kish's head.
- Rock gets a DQ win over Angle after interference by HHH, then despite help by Kane, they're both laid out by the Faction and Angle to close out the show.

Our opening video package recaps hypes our World Title situation, plus the 3-way dance and the "shoot" issues behind the scenes. Then we see fans getting pumped about the 3-way before we go out to the arena. We're live from the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia up in the Great White North. Schiavone welcomes us to the show and we get to our first match. Double Ladder Match for 3 Count's Gold Record & Recording Contract: 3 Count (w/ Tank Abbot) vs The Jung Dragons Pre-Match : So presumably, it seems the idea of a double ladder match is that each time will go for something different, and this isn't winner take all...? Tony tells us that 3 Count is more concerned with the gold record, and the Dragons want the contract so 3 Count can't make any more records. WCW Spring Stampede 2000

We get an opening video package which starts with Russo's hatred for Flair, then a recap of Bischoff and Hogan's issues. Then we cut to Eric and Russo in the back, and apparently Hogan's checked himself out of the hospital, much to Eric's confusion. Kidman says they just need to fire up the hummer and finish what they started.  Another video package set to music, highlighting everything that went down in the last week or so, then to the arena for the opening pyro, live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Tony Schiavone, Scott Hudson and Mark Madden are on commentary, so I guess Mark recovered from his attack by Tank. They run down the card for tonight, going over the tournaments and the Millionaires Club's chances. They also tell us that Russo and Eric have made it clear to the referees that they don't want them to jump the gun and throw matches out immediately, so the DQ rule will be a more relaxed. Week of August 21, 2000

Recap of what happened with Rock and the McMahons on Smackdown. We're live from the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA for the go-home episode of Summerslam. JR is here by himself unsure where King is for the time being. Rock is here to get the show started. He gets in his usual cheap pops. He uses the fact that Louisiana is shaped like a boot to transition into wanting to take his own boot, put some jambalaya on it, some gumbo on it, some Louisiana hot sauce on it, and shove it so far up Trips' ass it comes out of his mouth, then put some more hot sauce on it, turn it sideways and stick it up Angle's ass. He says it's the only way they'll ever be united, because they have different agendas, pointless goals, that being to take away his title and win the heart of Stephanie who he calls different variations of a slut.
