WCW Week of July 10, 2000 Recap

Nitro
- Booker cuts a passionate promo and reunites with his brother, only for both to be attacked by Steiner.
- Jarrett wants his rematch but Booker already has a match, plus he's attacked by Steiner.
- Douglas beats Crowbar with help from Torrie
- Kidman is done with Torrie, then he and Jarrett fight. Then a match is made for later.
- Tank and 3 Count's gold record celebration is interrupted by Jung Dragons and a returning Great Muta, who lay them out.
- Jarrett beats Kidman with help from Torrie and Douglas
- Awesome turns down the US Title, wanting to earn it instead of it being handed to him
- Booker retains the World Title with a clean win over Awesome, then Booker's attacked again by Steiner and Awesome makes the save.
- Cat calls out Steiner and gets his ass kicked, then Booker makes the save, then Jarrett and Kanyon come out. Cat makes a 4 Corners contender's match also including Goldberg.
- Vito retains the Hardcore Title over Norman and Ralphus after a chair shot from Norman knocks Vito onto Ralphus.
- Paisley is enamored by fashion designer Kwee Wee
- Lance is now a heel foreigner and gets a clean win over Artist
- Kronic retain the Tag Titles after a botched Doomsday Device. Jindrak and O'Haire also drive off the Filthy Animals during the match. Then Palumbo and Stasiak try to attack Kronic but MIA make the save.
- Demon and Vamp are friends now and he tries to get Demon to attack Asya, but Sting, burned face covered up, attacks.
- Jarrett wins the 4 Corners match to earn a shot at New Blood Rising. Steiner and Goldberg have a pull apart to end the show.

Thunder
- Tank and 3 Count beat Jung Dragons and Muta after Tank knocks out Yang
- Cat makes Kanyon vs Jarrett for his World Title shot in return for a signed copy of his book.
- MIA is attacked by Perfect Event, who are then dumb enough to hand Guns a weapon who gives a pair of low blows.
- Demon gets a clean win over Pvt. Stash
- Kidman mocks Storm's patriotism before losing to Jindrak and O'Haire, then Lance attacks Kidman after the match. They get a match later, in return for Kidman staying out of Douglas' match.
- Hancock convinces David to challenge for the Hardcore Title, but Vito retains.
- Perfect Event get a DQ win over Cajun and Rection after tricking the ref into thinking MIA hit him with a Lex Flexer.
- Rick attacks Booker after feigning congratulations, and Awesome makes the save. Awesome vs Rick is also made for later.
- Douglas and Torrie beat Crowbar and Daffney clean, then Douglas hits Daffney with the Franchiser post-match.
- Steiner is badgered by Tenay in a pre-taped interview at his home, and chokes Tenay out, causing vocal chord damage.
- Kidman beats Storm after countering a powerbomb with a facebuster onto a chair.
- Kanyon lays out Judy Bagwell during the break with a Kanyon Cutter in the parking lot.
- Awesome gets a clean win over Rick Steienr. Rick attacks, Booker makes the save.
- Jarrett beats Kanyon after Jarrett attacks commentary and Buff attacks Kanyon in the chaos.

Our opening video package recaps hypes our World Title situation, plus the 3-way dance and the "shoot" issues behind the scenes. Then we see fans getting pumped about the 3-way before we go out to the arena. We're live from the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia up in the Great White North. Schiavone welcomes us to the show and we get to our first match. Double Ladder Match for 3 Count's Gold Record & Recording Contract: 3 Count (w/ Tank Abbot) vs The Jung Dragons Pre-Match : So presumably, it seems the idea of a double ladder match is that each time will go for something different, and this isn't winner take all...? Tony tells us that 3 Count is more concerned with the gold record, and the Dragons want the contract so 3 Count can't make any more records. WCW Spring Stampede 2000

We get an opening video package which starts with Russo's hatred for Flair, then a recap of Bischoff and Hogan's issues. Then we cut to Eric and Russo in the back, and apparently Hogan's checked himself out of the hospital, much to Eric's confusion. Kidman says they just need to fire up the hummer and finish what they started.  Another video package set to music, highlighting everything that went down in the last week or so, then to the arena for the opening pyro, live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Tony Schiavone, Scott Hudson and Mark Madden are on commentary, so I guess Mark recovered from his attack by Tank. They run down the card for tonight, going over the tournaments and the Millionaires Club's chances. They also tell us that Russo and Eric have made it clear to the referees that they don't want them to jump the gun and throw matches out immediately, so the DQ rule will be a more relaxed. Recap of what happened with Rock and the McMahons on Smackdown. We're live from the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA for the go-home episode of Summerslam. JR is here by himself unsure where King is for the time being. Rock is here to get the show started. He gets in his usual cheap pops. He uses the fact that Louisiana is shaped like a boot to transition into wanting to take his own boot, put some jambalaya on it, some gumbo on it, some Louisiana hot sauce on it, and shove it so far up Trips' ass it comes out of his mouth, then put some more hot sauce on it, turn it sideways and stick it up Angle's ass. He says it's the only way they'll ever be united, because they have different agendas, pointless goals, that being to take away his title and win the heart of Stephanie who he calls different variations of a slut.
