WCW Week of July 3, 2000 Recap
Nitro
- 3 Count beat Jung Dragons after Tank takes an injured Helms' place mid-match- Awesome sends people through tables throughout the night, mostly random guys, but also Crowbar, and they all leave in ambulances.
- Johnny the Bull beats Funk in a Hardcore Match, but also breaks his ass in the process off a springboard leg drop onto a chair onto Funk's head on the outside, so he's injured for a while.
- Vamp gives Dale his Demon gear while under disguise, and someone mysterious is watching.
- MIA beat Jindrak and O'Haire to earn a tag title shot. Perfect Event attack after the match but are easily dispatched.
- Cat tries to convince Nash and Goldberg to leave the arena, but they just want to get their hands on each other
- Jarrett brings out fat ladies dressed as Vikings, because the fat lady will sing and all that, and some guy from Standards and Practices comes out to stop it but gets a guitar to the head. Then Cat makes a battle royal for later.
- Booker pins Douglas after a miscue from Kanyon and a Book End, but Kanyon and Douglas attack after the match.
- Cat pays off the locker room to keep Nash and Goldberg apart
- Demon beats Vamp after a bunch of people in Sting masks distract Vamp, then Vamp disappears after he's surrounded.
- David and Hancock shave Daffney a bit and try to frame Crowbar, even this is all on live TV.
- Konnan and Disco do an interview with Rey and Juvie, dressed like Storm and Kidman, which leads to Rey and Juvie beating Lance and Kidman with help from Disco. Cat had been seduced before the match by Tygress so he didn't see the interference.
- Vamp challenges Demon to a Graveyard Match at the PPV.
- Awesome gets a countout win over Steiner, who wasn't there because of a suspension, and Rick Steiner came out to send Awesome away.
- Nash wins a Battle Royal involving Goldberg and a bunch of others, last eliminating Goldberg despite the fact he stepped through the ropes and didn't go over them. They're held back by the locker room to end the show.
Thunder
- Cat makes a tag match pitting Booker and Buff against Douglas and Kanyon, with the winner of the fall getting a World Title match in the main event.
- Perfect Event get trapped in tanning beds by Woody the production guy, which leads to a tag match later.
- Storm wins a Four Corners match involving Rey, Disco and Kidman, making Disco tap to his rolling half crab
- Cat and Jung Dragons have a karate demo
- Vito retains the Hardcore Title against Demon after Vamp breaks a shovel over his back
- Woody and Bryan Adams beat Perfect Event, Woody getting the pin after High Time on Stasiak
- Vito attacks Funkbackstage
- Booker gets the pin on Kanyon in his previously mentioned tag match
- Juvie and Tygress beats Guns and Loco after a belt shot
- Crowbar beats David after a lead pipe shot, then forces him into confessing his affair with Hancock and shaving Daffney
- Awesome beats Rick after spraying something in his eyes
- At first Jarrett retains his title over Booker after a Kanyon Cutter on the floor, but the match is restarted by Cat. Booker wins by DQ after Jarrett smashes a guitar over Cat's head, who took the original ref's place after he was taken out.
Bash at the Beach
- Loco retains the CW Title over Juvie after failed interference from the Animals, then interference by MIA involving Halloween masks
- Vito retains the Hardcore Title over Norman and Ralphus after splashing the latter through a table
- Daffney beats Hancock in a Wedding Gown Match, after Hancock strips herself down. There's a fight with wedding cake which makes a big mess, and the cleaning crew only make it worse.
- Kronic get a clean win over Perfect Event to regain the tag titles
- Kanyon beats Booker after flip-flop rules and a guitar shot from Jarrett
- The US Title Match between Steiner and Awesome doesn't really have a finish, because Cat just calls for the bell after Steiner locks in the banned Recliner, and strips him of the title.
- Vamp beats Demon in a Graveyard Match after trapping him in a coffin and dumping him in an open grave. He's then attacked by the Stings from Nitro and put in a coffin himself when he returns to the arena.
- Douglas beats Bagwell after a returning Torrie Wilson interferes.
- Hogan beats Jarrett for the World Title after Jarrett lays down for him. The decision is later reversed when Russo "shoots" on Hogan and makes Jarrett vs Booker for the title for later.
- Goldberg beats Nash for Hall's contract after Steiner turns on Nash for some reason
- Booker wins his first WCW Title after catching Jarrett coming off the top rope with a Book End
