WWF Week of June 26, 2000 Recap

RAW
- Vince leaves to make babies with Linda
- Rikishi retains the IC Title by DQ against Benoit after Tazz returns and hits him with a chair for... reasons. Benoit attacks Rikishi after.
- X-Pac beats Jericho with help from Road Dogg and Steph. Steph slaps him after the match.
- Eddie retains the European Title over Val after Chyna breaks up a pin for Eddie. Then she hits Trish with a nasty powerbomb.
- Shawn Michaels announces Foley as the new commissioner, who then makes a contenders match, between HHH, Angle and Rock for later.
- Lawler wins the obligatory women's stripping match over Dean, but it's ruined by Steven Richards who teases the Right to Censor gimmick.
- E&C convince Mick to give them their own locker room, but end up getting booked in a match against Taker and Kane in the process.
- Acolytes win a Battle Royal to earn a shot at the tag titles
- Taker and Kane make short work of the tag champs
- Rock beats Angle and HHH with help from Jericho, so neither Angle nor HHH will get a title shot

Smackdown
- A tag match pitting Eddie and Rikishi against Val and Benoit is thrown out after interference by T&A and Too Cool
- Kurt is challenged to a match by Hardcore Holly after he talks down to Kaientai and acts like a pompous ass. Holly gets his arm broken in the match as Angle gets the win.
- E&C get out of defending the tag titles on the show, but get booked in singles matches against Kane and Taker.
- Steph and HHH try to intimidate Mick into giving him a match with Jericho, and he does give him one, but makes it a 6-man tag involving the Dudleyz and DX.
- Steven Richards berates Godfather and his hos before Buchanan gets the win over him.
- After interference from Tazz for... reasons, and a Con-Chair-To from E&C< Christian gets the win over Kane.
- Taker makes short work of Edge, then the champs attack only to be laid out by Taker and Kane.
- Blackman wins the Hardcore Title during a match between Crash and Al Snow, beating down Crash with nunchuks to get the pin. Posse try to ambush him backstage but are quickly laid out. 
- HHH and DX beat the Dudleyz and Jericho with a Pedigree and D-Von. HHH gets sent through a table by Jericho to end the show.

Our opening video package recaps hypes our World Title situation, plus the 3-way dance and the "shoot" issues behind the scenes. Then we see fans getting pumped about the 3-way before we go out to the arena. We're live from the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia up in the Great White North. Schiavone welcomes us to the show and we get to our first match. Double Ladder Match for 3 Count's Gold Record & Recording Contract: 3 Count (w/ Tank Abbot) vs The Jung Dragons Pre-Match : So presumably, it seems the idea of a double ladder match is that each time will go for something different, and this isn't winner take all...? Tony tells us that 3 Count is more concerned with the gold record, and the Dragons want the contract so 3 Count can't make any more records. WCW Spring Stampede 2000

We get an opening video package which starts with Russo's hatred for Flair, then a recap of Bischoff and Hogan's issues. Then we cut to Eric and Russo in the back, and apparently Hogan's checked himself out of the hospital, much to Eric's confusion. Kidman says they just need to fire up the hummer and finish what they started.  Another video package set to music, highlighting everything that went down in the last week or so, then to the arena for the opening pyro, live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Tony Schiavone, Scott Hudson and Mark Madden are on commentary, so I guess Mark recovered from his attack by Tank. They run down the card for tonight, going over the tournaments and the Millionaires Club's chances. They also tell us that Russo and Eric have made it clear to the referees that they don't want them to jump the gun and throw matches out immediately, so the DQ rule will be a more relaxed. Week of August 21, 2000

Recap of what happened with Rock and the McMahons on Smackdown. We're live from the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA for the go-home episode of Summerslam. JR is here by himself unsure where King is for the time being. Rock is here to get the show started. He gets in his usual cheap pops. He uses the fact that Louisiana is shaped like a boot to transition into wanting to take his own boot, put some jambalaya on it, some gumbo on it, some Louisiana hot sauce on it, and shove it so far up Trips' ass it comes out of his mouth, then put some more hot sauce on it, turn it sideways and stick it up Angle's ass. He says it's the only way they'll ever be united, because they have different agendas, pointless goals, that being to take away his title and win the heart of Stephanie who he calls different variations of a slut.
