WCW Week of October 23, 2000 Recap

Nitro
- Harris Brothers beat Perfect Event after they argue with each other. Then Nash and Stasiak get into it.
- Big pull apart fight with Booker and Steiner, then Sting, Jarrett and Awesome join in too.
- Sanders beats Jung Dragons in a three-round kickboxing match after using some kind of substance on his gloves. Cat and Ms. Jones save Leia Meow.
- 3 Count hire Kronik to make sure their performance goes uninterrupted, until Kronik realize they're not paid enough to listen to all their stuff. Kronik squash 3 Count.
- MIA do a bad Team Canada impression that somehow make them look like babyfaces
- Goldberg goes 12-0 squashing Stasiak
- Kidman beats Wright and Jindrak after their partners get involved in a big fight, then everyone fights in the ring with Kidman and Rey standing tall.
- Vampiro returns to beat Crowbar via ref stoppage after he's chokeslammed through stacked tables. Vamp challenges Awesome to a match at the PPV.
- Douglas fakes an injury and beats Konnan with help from Torrie and a chain.
- Steiner comes out with a tiger before beating Awesome clean in the main event.

Thunder
- Reno retains the Hardcore Title against Kwee-Wee, then Reno lays out Paisley, then he's chokeslammed through a table by AWOL.
- Stasiak receives a spanking in the ring by Nash and the Thrillers
- Buff beats MI Smooth clean. Buff lays out David after he tries a sneak attack.
- Sanders drags out Leia Meow for a match with Cat and Ms. Jones, only for Leia to turn on him and her and Jones to pin him.
- Vamp beats Vito clean
- Loco and Cajun beat Lance and Elix despite Guns failing to help MIA with a flag shot.
- O'Haire beats Disqo and Rey clean
- Goldberg goes 13-0 as he, Sting and Booker beat Kronik and Jarrett in the main event. Goldberg also spears his head right into the ring post and almost definitely concusses himself. Jarrett and Steiner lay out Booker and Sting to end the show.

Halloween Havoc
- Jindrak & O'Haire retain the Tag Titles over Boogie Knights and Rey & Kidman clean. Then everyone beats down Rey, Kidman and Konnan.
- Reno retains the Hardcore Title over AWOL. Stasiak and Palumbo join in on a post-match beatdown until MIA make the save.
- Cajun and Loco beat Perfect Event after dissension continues
- Konnan and Tygress beat Douglas and Torrie clean
- Buff wins the DNA Match, but David still gets a sample of his DNA after Buff is attacked by a returning Luger.
- Sanders beats Cat in a three-round kickboxing match in sudden death overtime via countout after Thrillers and Douglas get involved. Cat is now the sole commissioner of WCW.
- Awesome beats Vamp to keep his World Title shot, and Vamp gets concussed in the process.
- Rection wins the Canadian/US Title, pinning Duggan in a handicap match with champion Lance, despite interference from Elix and with help from Major Guns. He also frees Major Guns from captivity.
- Jarrett beats Sting after several Sting look-alikes come out and get involved, and Sting is hit with a guitar.
- Booker retains the World Title via DQ after Steiner lays out several referees. He continues the attack post match and even Jarrett tries to calm him down.
- Goldberg goes 14-0 as he beats Kronik in the main event.

Our opening video package recaps hypes our World Title situation, plus the 3-way dance and the "shoot" issues behind the scenes. Then we see fans getting pumped about the 3-way before we go out to the arena. We're live from the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia up in the Great White North. Schiavone welcomes us to the show and we get to our first match. Double Ladder Match for 3 Count's Gold Record & Recording Contract: 3 Count (w/ Tank Abbot) vs The Jung Dragons Pre-Match : So presumably, it seems the idea of a double ladder match is that each time will go for something different, and this isn't winner take all...? Tony tells us that 3 Count is more concerned with the gold record, and the Dragons want the contract so 3 Count can't make any more records. WCW Spring Stampede 2000

We get an opening video package which starts with Russo's hatred for Flair, then a recap of Bischoff and Hogan's issues. Then we cut to Eric and Russo in the back, and apparently Hogan's checked himself out of the hospital, much to Eric's confusion. Kidman says they just need to fire up the hummer and finish what they started.  Another video package set to music, highlighting everything that went down in the last week or so, then to the arena for the opening pyro, live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Tony Schiavone, Scott Hudson and Mark Madden are on commentary, so I guess Mark recovered from his attack by Tank. They run down the card for tonight, going over the tournaments and the Millionaires Club's chances. They also tell us that Russo and Eric have made it clear to the referees that they don't want them to jump the gun and throw matches out immediately, so the DQ rule will be a more relaxed. Week of August 21, 2000

Recap of what happened with Rock and the McMahons on Smackdown. We're live from the Cajundome in Lafayette, LA for the go-home episode of Summerslam. JR is here by himself unsure where King is for the time being. Rock is here to get the show started. He gets in his usual cheap pops. He uses the fact that Louisiana is shaped like a boot to transition into wanting to take his own boot, put some jambalaya on it, some gumbo on it, some Louisiana hot sauce on it, and shove it so far up Trips' ass it comes out of his mouth, then put some more hot sauce on it, turn it sideways and stick it up Angle's ass. He says it's the only way they'll ever be united, because they have different agendas, pointless goals, that being to take away his title and win the heart of Stephanie who he calls different variations of a slut.
