Thunder More recapping of Sin, plus last week's funeral and Big Sexy being very pissed off. Plus what happened between Kronik, Totally Buff, Page and Jarrett on Thunder. Cut to footage from last week. Steiner, Totally Buff and Jarrett are gathered and seemingly watching a game of some kind, but turns out its footage of Sin when Sid broke his leg. They can't get enough of it. Live from the Lawrence Joel Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC for this edition of Nitro, welcomed by Schiavone and Hudson. So happy we're sticking with the two man booth, no Madden, no Disqo. They do point out that Sid broke his leg by accident and it wasn't Steiner's doing, despite taking credit for it. They also tell us WCW has new owners and it's in a transition period, they don't know what changes will take places or what will happen, but they do wonder if Flair's actions are to cement his place in power during all this.  Out comes Flair and his men, although noticeably abse...

Nitro A side note before this starts, apparently Bischoff is back behind the scenes, with him and Fusient Media trying to buy the company, for what that's worth. Recap package from Sin. We go to exclusive footage from after Sin went off the air. And why rely on Buff and Luger to beat Goldberg if you needed a kid to do it? Commentary recap things, welcoming us to the show from the Allen County Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. They also show footage of Sid's injury, not cut this time. The Funeral March plays in the arena as Luger and Buff make their way out in suit, along with a coffin by random pallbearers. A graphic shows on the Nitro Vision to signif...

Opening video package lists off the seven deadly sins, along with video of corresponding wrestlers behind them. Live from the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN, 6,617 in attendance for the first PPV of the year, and third to last in the company's history. A two-man booth of Schiavone and Hudson calling the show tonight. Before we get to the first match, Shane Helms is backstage asking Shannon to let him go out on his own, as long as Chavo doesn't have any backup.  WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Shane Helms vs Chavo Guerrero Jr. (c) Pre-Match : Reminders that Shane and Shannon won a three-team, every man for himself ladder match for the title shot, then Shane beat Shannon on the following Nitro to get this one on one match.  Quick exchange of holds with Shane getting the better applying an armbar, Chavo scrambling to the ropes for a break. Another exchange, Shane with a hammerlock to get the better again, Chavo gets the ropes a second time. Chavo with a cheap shot to take...
