Week of March 19, 2001
Nitro
The show starts with what's supposed to be a tribute video for the "death" of DDP, and most of the footage shown is from a trailer park. We're then shown footage from the title match.
The Seven, minus Luger, Bagwell and Jarrett make their way out, in the O'Connell Center in Gainesville, FL. We're told very nonchalantly from Schiavone that Eric Bischoff will be calling the show at some point tonight with a big announcement. There's no explanation of why Bischoff, who hasn't been seen since July, is suddenly calling into a show, or why he's able to call in and make an announcement of any kind, we just know it's going to happen.
Steiner's first on the mic and came out to be a nice guy, let the white trash mourn the loss of their fallen hero, the biggest white trash of them all. He says that last night DDP found out it was time to put up or shut up, and he found out he was not the last man standing, Steiner was just saving him for last. Page is now looking in from the outside like Sting, Nash, Sid and Goldberg. He says his path of destruction continues and he's going down as the greatest world champion of all time. No one has beaten challengers and taken out of the game like him, so he wants everyone to get on their knees and pay homage to the World Champion and the Genetic Freak.
Flair doesn't think there was any doubt that Steiner wouldn't kill and destroy Page, it was a give, he's Big Papa, the World Champion. He does think there was doubt in some minds whether Jarrett and Flair would beat the Rhodes, and says they beat them from one post to the other, they outwrestled, outsmarted them, beat them at their game, because they're the best thing going today. Because of some generosity, he didn't make Dusty comes to Gainsville to kills his gator ass tonight.
Speaking of which, Dusty's theme hits and he and Dustin appear on the Turner Vision screen. Dusty corrects him and reminds us that Jarrett kissed his ass last night, and before Flair leaves, he will be kissing Dusty's ass in gator country. He says Jarrett looked scared when he puckered up last night. Steiner calls him out to the ring. Dusty says he's held Scott's title three-times and has lots of respect for him, and this is between Dusty and Flair. He says someone wants him bad and now.
Booker makes his way out. Steiner says he beat Booker so bad he forgot where the barbershop was, and that he wants no part of Steiner. Booker tells Steiner to shut up. He brings up Steiner's body count, he's been back three weeks and Steiner hasn't said anything about him. He came back for one reason, the World Title, and as far as Flair, he comes out talking about being the boss, and tells him to save the drama for his mama. As far as the man goes, Booker talked to the man today and has a message to deliver to Flair. Steiner interrupts to call Flair the man and Booker tells him to shut up again. An hour from now, the man wants Steiner to be in the ring with the belt as there'll be a lot said about it. Exccellent opening segment.
Commercial
Footage of Page being taken out on a stretcher after Greed went off the air.
Back to the camcorder, they're replaying footage of Buff being laid out last night and Buff and Animal are pissed at the cameraman for not getting more footage. Animal is sick of this and wants to get the bottom of it. Buff brings up his argument with Luger, and doesn't think Luger would do it, but Animal points out Luger only thinks about himself. Buff agrees with him, and tells the cameraman to follow Luger everywhere.
Jason Jett vs Disqo (w/ Mike Sanders)
Pre-Match: Disqo asks for complete silence and introduces "former commissioner" Sanders as his new best friend. Disqo hopes Wright is watching from home since he's facing the bum who pinned him last week, and watch Disqo do what he couldn't. He wishes Wright luck in his singles career and calls him a big, bald loser.

Disqo sent off the ropes, blocks a up toss, tries a hurricanrana, hit with a sitout powerbomb for two. Jason sent off the ropes, tripped by Sanders and knocked out of the ring by Disqo. Disqo distracts the ref and Sanders kicks Jason in the chest. Swinging neckbreaker back in the ring by Disqo, then a second one. Jason avoids a third, rolls Disqo up for two. Knee to the face by Disqo and wastes a lot of time dancing, then covers for two.

Cut back to the cameraman. Luger's been revived and he has an icepack on his head. Animal and Buff are there. Animal says they need to figure things out, says Flair and Jarrett are busy, and Rick Steiner's all that's left.

Stasiak wants a rematch and will do anything and put anything on the line. He says he and Flair have had a lot of differences over the years and while he has a lot of respect for him and what he's done, he wants to make sure that a promise made is a promise kept. He says it's in Flair's best interest to kiss Dusty's ass tonight, and will see everyone next week.
